November/December 2022
Early November brought us the first floods of the winter. Without water for most of the summer, the moat quickly filled and overflowed onto adjoining land. A reflective photo opportunity!
A heron spotted on the Moat Walk; now we have water in the moat, do we also have fish?
Despite the flooding, the unseasonably warm weather has prolonged the autumn colour. Here we see the herbaceous borders cleared for spring.
